EY Abogados incorporates R&D tax team from consultancy Atomm

EY Abogados has incorporated a 21-strong team of professionals from consultancy firm Atomm.

The team – which is led by partner Jorge Baztarrica and has particular expertise in the field of research and development (R&D) – will join EY Abogados’ business taxation department.

In addition to its Spanish business, Atomm also has a presence in Colombia and Mexico.

Baztarrica, who founded Atomm said: “Integration with EY was a clear opportunity for us. It allows us to join a team and bring our expertise in tax relating to R&D, while expanding the international scope of services that we provide, and promoting offices we have in Mexico and Colombia.”
