EY Abogados advises Tieto on acquisition of tech companies
EY Abogados provided legal advice and due diligence to Tieto, the Scandinavian corporation that has acquired the tech companies OpenSpring and Onetec in Spain for a total of €8 million. The new subsidiaries of the Finnish multinational bring 200 employees and €10 million in revenue to their new owner.
The multinational operates in 90 countries and has identified Spain as an “especially attractive” market to grow its software and technology consulting business through its Tieto Banktech, Tieto Caretech and Tieto Tech Consulting platforms, according to EY Abogados. Both OpenSpring and Grupo Onetec are headquartered in Madrid and operate in the technology consulting and anti-money laundering segments.
