EY Abogados advises on the €87M syndicated financing for Zamakona Yards

EY Abogados has advised CaixaBank CIB division on the €87,000,000 syndicated financing, structured through a facilities agreement and a guarantee line agreement, and arranged by CaixaBank, granted to Astilleros Zamakona, a leading shipbuilding company, for the construction of a live-fish carrier vessel.

The new 80-meter wellboat is set to be constructed at Zamakona Yards’ facilities in Bilbao, following a design by Salt Ship Design.

The transaction was led by Guillermo Crespo Gómez, partner in the Banking & Finance department, together with senior associate Javier Andueza López-Jacoiste and junior associate Alejandro Beltrán Miguel.
