Eversheds Sutherland re-elects its Board of Directors
The Spanish office of the law firm Eversheds Sutherland has re-elected its Board of Directors for a new three-year term. Following the decision, adopted unanimously by the partners’ Meeting, the Board will be formed by Jacobo Martínez, managing partner of the firm in Spain and chairman of the Board, and partners Alberto Dorrego, Kiko Carrión, Javier Ibáñez and Andrés Jiménez, as directors.
Three-year term
Among the functions of the Board for this new mandate are those of defining and promoting the firm’s strategic plan for the next three years, preparing and monitoring the annual budgets, managing the firm’s financial, material and HR resources, and approving promotions or the incorporation of new partners, among others.
Thus, throughout this three-year period, the international firm will continue with its strategic plan in Spain, promoting its objectives of strengthening its transactional and specialized profile, focusing on retaining and attracting talent, diversity and inclusion, as well as consolidating its leadership in Latin America.
Jacobo Martínez
Jacobo Martínez assures that, with this re-election “the firm reaffirms its project and roadmap that has allowed an exponential growth in the last years, in all the aspects that have to do with the management, invoicing, profitability and benefits of the partners”. And he adds that, “together with this growth, we have focused on providing top-quality, value-added services to our clients”.
Firm´s target: 30 million euros
Specifically, the firm closed its 2022 fiscal year with a turnover of 20.15 million euros, which represents a 15% growth over the previous year, while in 2021, the firm experienced an increase in business of 21.3% (17.6 million euros). The firm’s target is to reach revenues of €30 million by the end of 2025.
