Eversheds Sutherland advises on the financing round of Beridi
Eversheds Sutherland has advised the European Innovation Council Fund (EIC Fund) on a financing round in Beridi, headquartered in Madrid.
BERIDI is a leading seashore engineering firm that brings together the knowledge gained from +20 years of experience in the field of maritime engineering to develop innovative solutions to the challenges of the offshore wind sector.
This advise has been in line with the long-term collaboration agreement between Eversheds Sutherland and the European Innovation Council Fund (EIC Fund), with the European Investment Bank (EIB) acting as investment advisor to the fund. The Spanish company was selected amongst 21 European jurisdictions as part of the EIC Accelerator Program. The EIC Accelerator Program aims to identify and support high-impact innovative companies within the European Union.
Eversheds-Sutherland team in Spain were Sixto de la Calle Peral, Head of Private Equity, María Ramalle Quiñones, Legal Director and Mercedes Olmedo González, associate of the M&A practice.
