Evergreen advises BSG on the acquisition of Wordplex
Evergreen Legal has advised Business Software Group (BSG), a B2B software group, on the acquisition of Wordplex, a company specialised in the development of platforms for notaries, in a transaction that supports the ongoing consolidation of this market in Spain and Portugal.
This is BSG’s second acquisition of the year, following the purchase of Winhotel, a Spanish company specialised in software for the hospitality industry, in which Evergreen Legal also acted as legal adviser to the group. The transaction also opens up new opportunities in the Portuguese market and reinforces the project’s Iberian dimension.
Evergreen Legal advised BSG on all legal aspects of the transaction, including the structuring, negotiation and execution of the deal. The team was led by partner Luis Vegas, together with senior associate Marina Roji, and associates Miguel Balseiro and Beatriz Moreno-Torres.
