With this agreement, which comes only a few months after the firm began its landing in Latin America thanks to alliances with the Mexican Hagerman Abogados and the Colombian Acevedo & Velasco Abogados, EJA reinforces its Labour and Social Security Law area, a key area in the development of its strategic plan for next year.
When asked about this new alliance, Angel Rivas, partner of EJA – Estudio Jurídico Almagro, points to the constant search for excellence and technical and human quality as the factors that have driven – and made possible – this new milestone: “With this new partnership with Nácar Abogados we are betting on a broader and more competitive EJA. Since our foundation, back in the 70s, we have always strived to meet the expectations of our clients, and this alliance with Sotero only enhances our efficiency and expertise in such a strategic area as labor law”.
Nácar Abogados
Nácar Abogados, on the other hand, emerged in 2013 as a result of the union of lawyers Rafael Navarrete and Sotero Casado. For Casado, managing partner of Nácar Abogados, this agreement with EJA is presented as “a unique opportunity that will allow both firms to expand the scope of their services, betting on the referencing of clients and the complementarity of the areas of specialization. In addition, having the support and organizational structure of Estudio Jurídico Almagro will undoubtedly make it possible to consolidate and reinforce our service vocation to our clients, offering them a more complete legal advice and guaranteeing the legal security they need”.
Rivas emphasizes his desire to “continue accompanying clients in their day-to-day work, offering them comprehensive assistance thanks to the dedication and effort of a committed and experienced team, whose specialization will now be enhanced thanks to the expertise and experience of Sotero Casado in labor matters”. In the same line Casado expresses himself, who is committed to consolidating the trust of his current and potential clients, “placing them at the center of the organization, as we have been doing up to now, but with the incentive of offering them a more extensive and improved portfolio of services; all this, to face the challenges of the coming year with the maximum possible guarantees”, he states.
