Escura creats a new animal law department

Escura has created a specific department dedicated to animal law, a further step to reinforce a practice already provided by lawyers of this firm through the advice, defence and exercise of animal rights. This deparment wil be headed by partner Sonia Frouchtman.

The new regulations approved in this area and the increasingly frequent cases related to animals and their rights, as well as a greater concern and social awareness, have been the reasons why Escura has created this specific department. Made up of professionals specialising in animal law, it is headed by partner Sonia Frouchtman, a lawyer with extensive experience in this field and author of articles on current issues such as the situation of pets in the event of divorce or the “vicarious mistreatment” of animals.

The department provides services both to individuals and to professionals, associations and groups, in matters such as shared custody, adoption and fostering contracts, cases of animal abuse, complaints of abandonment or veterinary law, among others.

Escura is a firm of lawyers and economists with a strong presence in Spain dedicated to advice in all areas to companies at national and international level that provides services not only in the traditional areas of consultancy, but also value-added services such as the management of the Complaints Channel, implementation of criminal compliance policies, regulatory compliance, equality plans and data protection.
