ENATIC Faces a New Chapter with Renewed Leadership
Talking about ENATIC means delving into a pioneering association in technology law that emerged during the X Congress of the Legal Profession held in Cádiz. In that setting, a group of lawyers dedicated to digital law set it in motion. Rodolfo Tesone, now the honorary president of the organization, was one of its founding members at that time. Twelve years after its inception, the association of national experts in ICT law, ENATIC, faces a crucial moment in its development. Three years ago, this entity returned to the forefront with a Board of Directors presided over by Carlos Saiz, partner at Ecix Group and vice president of ISMS Forum. Now, it enters a process of renewal with lawyer Belén Arribas as the new visible leader, also linked to the organization since its origins.
Within the association, a single candidacy was agreed upon, consisting of professionals who were already part of the Board and others joining for this new stage. Alongside Belén, Saiz continues as vice president, as well as lawyer Eduardo López, while José Leandro Núñez, partner at Audens, maintains the position of secretary-general, and Jordi Ferrer as treasurer. Among the remaining members are María del Pilar Tintoré, a lawyer specializing in international family and childhood law; Josep Cañabate, professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona; Laura Fra, vice-dean of the Bar Association of Castilla and León; Isabel Mascaró, compliance officer, and DPO; Francisco Pérez Bes, partner at Ecix Group; and Jesús Fernández, lawyer, and compliance officer.
As for the newcomers, notable mentions include Esther García, from the legal department of Caixabank; Gerard Espuga, with his own law firm; Carlota Sáenz, counsel at Glovo; José Manuel Muñoz, with his own law firm; Margarita Mínguez, legal counsel at Privee; Antonio Serrano, with his own law firm; Sara Molina, from Deloitte Legal; Carlos Fernández, content manager at La Ley newspaper; Pilar Garrido, from the legal department of Banco de Santander, and Rodolfo Tesone, honorary president. Over these three years, ENATIC has assembled a group of high-level professionals in digital law.
