Ecija promotes Guerrero and Torres as partners in Madrid
Ecija has reinforced its Corporate Governance and Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) practices with the promotion of Juan Carlos Guerrero and Marina Torres as new partners in the Madrid office.
The firm continues its commitment to internal talent and team growth, having promoted 32 professionals in its Madrid office to date.
Juan Carlos Guerrero, new partner at TMT, a prominent and one of the most dynamic areas of the firm led by Alejandro Touriño, has been with the firm for nine years. He has developed his career at Ecija since 2016 advising large corporations on digital matters.
Torres, who joined the firm four years ago from Ramón y Cajal Abogados, regularly advises IBEX 35 and continuous market companies, and specialises in corporate governance and corporate law. Her promotion reinforces her advising large companies on regulatory matters and compliance.
These promotions reflect Ecija’s ongoing strategy to strengthen key practice areas and support its expansion in the legal sector. The firm has made a strong start to 2025 with a couple of key signings such as Rafael Piqueras to reinforce the competition area.
