Ecija opens an office in Barranquilla and welcomes three new partners
Ecija strengthens its expansion in Latin America with the opening of a new office in Barranquilla, headed by Rodrigo Uribe, and the addition of partners Nataly Novoa and Marcelo Yepes in Colombia, as part of its strategic plan to reach €150 million in global revenue by 2028, with Latin America as a fundamental pillar of its international growth.
“The arrival of Rodrigo, Nataly and Marcelo, together with the opening of the office in Barranquilla, is another step forward in our vision for growth in Latin America. We are bringing not only technical knowledge and experience, but also deep roots in the Colombian market, which allows us to be closer to our clients and their challenges,” said Alejandro Touriño, managing partner of Ecija.
Rodrigo Uribe
Uribe is a specialist in taxation and telecommunications and has advised companies on the structuring and implementation of complex businesses, with an emphasis on tax and corporate law. He has held prominent positions in chambers of commerce and arbitration tribunals, and is currently a professor at the Universidad del Norte, as well as the author of legal works on international business.
Nataly Novoa
Novoa, a lawyer and political scientist from the Universidad de los Andes, has more than 15 years of experience as a legal director in the legal sector. She specialises in business structuring, commercial law, corporate law and energy law. Before joining Ecija, she founded her own firm focused on corporate, commercial, energy and gas law.
Marcelo Yepes
Yepes, a lawyer with more than 30 years of experience, has served as general secretary of renowned energy companies in Colombia. He specialises in corporate law, private contracting, business structuring, and has studied mining, energy and competition law.
