Ecija hires Iván Azinovic as real estate partner
Ecija has appointed Iván Azinovic, formerly of EY, to head its real estate practice. He brings extensive experience from law firms such as Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.
With more than thirty years of experience in the real estate market, he has advised on significant transactions, projects related to real estate investment, urban development, construction, and the corporate structuring of real estate assets, for both domestic and international investors. Azinovic holds a Law degree from Universidad Complutense and a master’s in Private International and Banking Law from the Washington College of Law.
“His arrival strengthens a strategic practice for Ecija at a time marked by the revival of real estate investment, the transformation of asset-use models—living, logistics, data centres and hospitality—and increasing regulatory and urban planning complexity, which directly impacts the profitability and structuring of projects”, states the law firm.
Ecija CEO Alejandro Touriño notes that “the addition of Iván Azinovic and his team represents a very significant step for our real estate practice. His experience, leadership, and deep market knowledge enhance our ability to advise on high-value transactions in a sector that is key for our clients.”
