Ecija advises on the production of the film “Me he hecho viral”
Ecija has advised Bowfinger International Pictures in the production of “Me he hecho viral”, a film directed by Jorge Coira, scripted by Araceli Gonda and featuring actors such as Blanca Suarez, Enric Auquer, Miguel Rellán, Cristina Gallego or Nicolás Furtado.
“Me he hecho viral” is an international co-production between the Spanish production companies Bowfinger International Pictures, Me He Hecho Viral La Película, Atresmedia Cine and Warner Bros. Entertainment España and the Argentinean production company Pampa Films, with theatrical release on October 11, 2023. Domestic theatrical distribution will be handled by Warner Bros. España and the film has the participation of Netflix and Movistar+, in association with Mogambo and Glow Animation.
The firm has participated in the legal advice of the film, accompanying the production company throughout the production process, from the hiring of the authorial and artistic team to the closing of the agreements for the marketing and financing of the work and through the achievement of the General Aid on the project granted by the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts in the amount of €1b. All this from the hand of the producer and executive producer of the film, María Luisa Gutierrez, founding partner and CEO of Bowfinger International Pictures, president of the State Film Association (AECINE) and winner of such important awards in the audiovisual industry in recent years as the Fotogramas de Plata or the Comscore Courage Award.
