DVP Solar Completes Sale of DS Italia 3 to Tremagi Energia

DVP Solar‘s internal legal team have spearheaded the sale of DS Italia 3‘s entire corporate capital to Tremagi Energia, the holding company that also includes energy utility Illumia.

DVP Solar recently announced the sale of 100% of DS Italia 3’s share capital, a special purpose vehicle engaged in developing two renewable energy projects in Italy’s Basilicata region, to Tremagi Energia, which owns Illumia, a significant player in Italy’s energy sector with over 1,000,000 end customers.

Leading the transaction were Italo Rubeo, DVP Italy Country Manager, and Matteo Carassiti, Illumia Partner and the new AU of the project company. The legal aspects of the sale were overseen by DVP’s in-house legal team, including Pedro Ramos (pictured left), Head of Legal, and Maria Juan Parra (pictured right), General Counsel – Italy. Illumia and Tremagi’s legal and tax team was headed by lawyer Aldo Bernardoni and Dr. Ruggero Mazza.

DVP Solar, owned by private equity fund Everwood Capital, specializes in agri-voltaic projects and boasts a portfolio of around 3GW of large-scale projects across Europe and Latin America. With offices in Italy, Spain, Germany, France, and Colombia, and projects spanning Argentina, Peru, and Greece, DVP Solar is a leading player in renewable energy development.
