DLA Piper on the acquisition of Starwood’s logistics facility

DLA Piper has advised Starwood Capital Group on the acquisition, in the form of a forward purchase, of a newly constructed logistics facility located in Seseña (Toledo), owned by Meridia Capital.

Founded in 1991, Starwood Capital Group is a Florida-based investment firm headed by Barry Sternlicht that is internationally active in a number of countries, including Spain.

DLA Piper was involved in advising on all phases of the transaction, including the audit process on the site where the facility has been built, negotiating the future purchase with Meridia Capital, advising during the construction and completion of the works and assisting in the closing of the deal with the notarial deed.
