DLA Piper has celebrated its 20th anniversary in Spain, preparing for the new challenges ahead. The most immediate will come later this year with the change of headquarters from 35 to 39 Paseo de Castellana (Madrid) to a complete, more modern and sustainable building.
The celebration took place yesterday at the Casino de Madrid and brought together around 300 attendees, including partners from Spain, London and other capitals, together with clients, and an important representation from the institutional and business world. Among others, the Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida and the Dean of the Madrid Bar Association, José María Alonso, were present.
Today, 130 professionals, including partners, lawyers and support staff, work in the Madrid offices. The firm continues to focus on strengthening internal talent and implementing the main practice areas in order to offer comprehensive advice to its clients.
