DLA Piper advises Armilar on WalliD investment

 DLA Piper ABBC advised Armilar Venture Partners in the investment process in startup WalliD. The National Press-Money House also participated in the seed investment round

 

Wallid was created in 2018 and incubated in Caixa Mágica Software, a spin-off of ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. The Portuguese startup developed a platform, based on blockchain, which offers authentication and online identification solutions.

The DLA Piper team consisted of partner João Costa Quinta (pictured) and Rita Costa Carvalho (senior associate).
