Diogo Mandim named COO at SPS Advogados

SPS Advogados has created a new position and appointed Diogo Mandim as chief operating officer, a role he will hold in addition to his current position as director of technology and innovation. With the new COO role, SPS Advogados aims to integrate the firm’s technological strategy with the operations of its support areas.

The position involves overseeing coordination, connectivity, and efficiency across the firm’s four main management areas: finance, technology and innovation, human resources, and marketing and communication. The goal is to enhance efficiency and foster greater interconnection between the partners and the various management departments, states the firm.

Mandim holds a degree in computer engineering and began his professional career at Sonae, where he joined teams connected to the human resources departments, focusing heavily on management support and continuous process improvement projects. He later worked at consulting firms Agap2 and Proef IT, where he was involved in process management and credit recovery projects. In 2019, he joined SPS as director of technology and innovation, responsible for designing and implementing a technological architecture to strategically support the firm’s growth.
