Diego García Diego, new director of the Sports & Entertainment area of Ontier

Ontier has appointed Diego García Diego, until now head of the legal department of RC Deportivo de la Coruña, as head of the Sports and Entertainment area with the aim of providing comprehensive advice and strategic consulting to sports clubs, federations, athletes, sports retail companies and companies in the audiovisual sector both nationally and internationally.

Diego García began his career in the sports sector at LaLiga, in the audiovisual area as director of matches. He later joined Getafe CF as director of Foundation, CSR and Sustainability, a position he held again at CF Fuenlabrada. Prior to joining the firm, he was at RC Deportivo de la Coruña, where he held the position of director of the legal department, as well as general secretary of the club’s Foundation.

García Diego has also been teaching the MBA Sports Management at the Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid for more than six years, as well as at business schools such as ISDE and The Core in the Master’s Degree in esports management.

Specializing in the legal field, business strategies and the development of sustainability areas in the organizations he has been part of, he has extensive experience in the sector.

Diego points out that “our goal is to become a strategic support within the industry that allows our clients to develop and maximize their potential at a key moment in the sector, providing value not only in the legal field but also in business consulting, sustainability and audiovisual, thus taking advantage of all the experience and structure of Ontier in the sector at national and international level”.
