Dentons strengthens Real Estate area
Dentons has hired Roberto Tojo Thomas de Carranza as partner responsible for its Real Estate practice in Spain
Dentons has reinforced its Madrid office with the incorporation of Roberto Tojo Thomas de Carranza, the new partner responsible for the Real Estate practice in Spain. Along with Tojo, Francisco Jiménez Alarcón, José Ramón Pérez Álvarez-Robles, Gumersindo Clemente Tijeras and Francisco de Bonilla Díaz, all of them from Ramón y Cajal, will join the firm as associates.
Roberto Tojo has 20 years of experience advising developers, investors and funds on complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions and divestments, sale & lease back transactions, leases and construction contracts. He has also worked on real estate and infrastructure financing transactions. Before joining Dentons, he was a partner director of the Real Estate Law department of Ramón y Cajal Abogados and, previously, he worked at Clifford Chance.
In addition to his legal practice, Tojo teaches Real Estate and Urban Law at several universities, such as the Instituto de Empresa (IE) or ISDE, and previously, at the Centro de Estudios Garrigues and the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
