Dentons promotes new corporate and M&A counsel
Dentons has promoted Jorge Carmona as new corporate and M&A counsel. He is a corporate lawyer in the Madrid office, where he joined in 2019.
Jorge Carmona practice is focus on general corporate law, in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, corporate law and corporate governance. He has been involved in numerous M&A transactions of entities in various sectors, advising on joint ventures, capital issues, conflicts between partners, corporate restructurings, private equity transactions, as well as corporate governance matters for listed and unlisted companies.
He has worked at Dentons, in the Madrid office, since 2019. Previously, he worked at Uría Menéndez Abogados between 2011 and 2019.
Jorge holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from CUNEF University and a law degree from the same university. He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
