Dentons in the acquisition of Transito 2000

The Corporate and M&A department of Dentons’ Spanish office, with a team comprising partners Nieves Briz (pictured) and Israel de Diego (pictured below) and counsel Natalia Ontiveros, has advised the digital customs services and solutions group Customs Support on the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Transito 2000. With the purchase, Customs Support expands its presence in Spain.

Owned by European private equity fund Castik Capital, Customs Suuports is a leading digital customs services provider in Europe, with over 1,500 professionals and more than 12,000 clients per year. The company operates in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, the UK, Poland, Italy, Ireland, Finland, Sweden and Switzerland, providing, among other services, compliance support, import tariff optimisation and tariff planning.

Transito 2000 is a well-known customs broker with offices in Algeciras (Cadiz) and the port of Motril (Granada), offering import, export and transit services, entry formalities, ATA documents, customs representation, as well as consultancy services to Asia, Central America, South America, West Africa and North Africa.
