Deloitte Legal signs Borja Orta as tax partner

Deloitte Legal strengthens its tax practice with the incorporation of Borja Orta Villar, from Garrigues, as a partner in the tax procedures department.

A lawyer specialized in tax procedures and litigation, he has more than 18 years of professional experience advising large national and international companies, as well as family groups and individuals in all types of proceedings before the tax authorities.

Borja, who comes from Garrigues, has developed his professional career representing clients both in the inspection phase and in economic-administrative and contentious-administrative proceedings. He has also assumed the legal direction of many important lawsuits in national courts and has participated in several proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union.

With a degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and an Executive Master’s Degree in Taxation from Centro de Estudios Garrigues, Borja is a regular speaker at business forums and seminars in the field of taxation, as well as at leading academic institutions.
