Deloitte advises on the acquisition of 25% of the concessionaire of the Autovía de los Viñedos motorway

Deloitte has advised Buenavista Equity Partners, specialised in infrastructure investment, on the acquisition of 25% of the concessionaire of the Autovía de los Viñedos motorway (CM-42) from Bestinver Infra. The remaining 75% belongs to Infra Invest Iberia, a vehicle managed by Meridiam, a European infrastructure fund manager.

The Autovía de los Viñedos (CM-42) is a 74.5 km shadow toll road connecting the municipalities of Consuegra (Toledo) and Tomelloso (Ciudad Real). It is a key axis in Castilla-La Mancha, serving the towns of Madridejos, Camuñas, Villafranca de los Caballeros, Herencia and Alcázar de San Juan, and connecting the city of Toledo with the A-43 motorway.

The road serves an area with a combined population of over 100,000 inhabitants. In 2024, 3 million vehicles travelled on it, 18% of which were heavy goods vehicles, underlining its importance for connecting the region and its productive fabric.

The concession was originally awarded in 2003 to a consortium led by Acciona, which set up Auvisa to manage the project. The company holds the rights to finance, operate and maintain the motorway until the end of the concession period in January 2033.
