Cuatrecasas on Alantra’s energy transition fund
Cuatrecasas has advised the financial services company Alantra in setting up the Klima Energy Transition Fund (Klima), together with the gas infrastructure company Enagás.
Klima focuses its activity on promoting companies in the field of ecological transition, decarbonisation and renewable gases, having closed so far a total of three large investments.
The deal has reached €210m, above the initial target of €150m and oversubscribed. Also, the european investment fund has injected €30m into Klima, in addition to those invested by various institutional investors, corporate investors in the energy sector, public institutions and family businesses. Alantra, in collaboration with Enagás, has also made a joint disbursement of approximately €50m million.
