Cuatrecasas confirms new Employment partner

Cuatrecasas has confirmed Isabel Merenciano as its newest partner for the Valencia office. Merenciano has developed a career as an Employment lawyer for almost twenty-five years. She has extensive experience in advising companies (especially in the automotive, port, transport, industrial and financial sectors, among others) and institutions in terms of negotiating agreements, managing collective processes, restructuring, senior management, labor aspects in corporate operations or implementation and review of occupational risk prevention policies.

Graduated in Law from the University of Valencia and with doctoral studies from the same university, Isabel Merenciano is an arbitrator of the Labour Arbitration Court of the Valencian Community, as well as an associate professor of Labour Law and Social Security at the CEU-Cardenal Herrera University and her Master of Law. Likewise, she is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences, as well as the author of numerous professional publications.

“Working in a great firm like Cuatrecasas is a decisive and important step in my career that I feel very proud of. They have relied on my experience in an increasingly powerful area in terms of the need for advice, especially in recent years, and which, after the latest legislative changes, has come to play a determining role in all business planning,” said Isabel Merenciano upon joining the firm.
