Cuatrecasas advises startup on raising €6m for Oscar-winning home services app
Cuatrecasas has provided legal advice to the Portuguese startup that owns the Oscar app, which operates in the area of home multiservices, in an investment round that raised €6 million and will serve to boost international expansion.
The startup was born in 2019 and combines technology to provide a multitude of B2C services, i.e. focused on the end consumer. In all, there are more than 150 fixed-price maintenance, cleaning, laundry and beauty services. Using algorithms, the app connects customers with service providers within 30 minutes.
The Cuatrecasas team involved in the legal advice was coordinated by the corporate and M&A lawyers Vasco Bivar de Azevedo and Pedro Sousa Gonçalves, who specialize in venture Capital, and included the lawyer Sofia Marques de Aguiar.
