Cuatrecasas advises Ribera Salud on two health sector deals

Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira advised healthcare company Ribera Salud on its acquisition of stakes in Torrevieja Salud and Vinalopo Hospital.

Ribera Salud purchased a 35 per cent stake in Torrevieja Salud and a 40 per cent stake in Vinalopo Hospital, according to Mergermarket data.

Ribera Salud specialises in public-private healthcare initiatives.  It is currently present in two autonomous communities: the Community of Valencia in the Alzira, Torrevieja, Denia, and Vinalopo hospitals and primary care centers and the Erescanner Salud that manages the magnetic resonance imaging department; and the Community of Madrid, where it is present in BR Salud, the manager of the central laboratory department in San Sebastián de los Reyes, which provides coverage for six public hospitals. 

Ribera Salud also operates in the Callao and Villa Maria del Triunfo hospitals in Peru.
