Cuatrecasas advises Opdenergy on the refinancing and start-up of ten solar plants with a combined capacity of 440MWp

Cuatrecasas has advised Opdenergy, an independent renewable energy producer, in the financing transaction for the development and commissioning of a portfolio of ten photovoltaic parks with a combined capacity of 440 MWp.

The agreement has allowed to secure financing to complete the construction and commissioning of the photovoltaic parks under development, as well as to refinance those parks of the portfolio already in progress. The transaction involved MUFG, BBVA and BNP Paribas, as financing banks, and Apex Financial Services, as agent.

As part of its new strategy of working transversally and providing the client with the best professionals in each specialty, Cuatrecasas has been advised by a team of lawyers from Madrid, Barcelona and London, comprising Agustín Cerdá, Javier Vivas, Adrián García and Juan Barenys, from finance, and Alejandro Bonitch, from public.
