Cuatrecasas advises on Mirabelle acquisition
Cuatrecasas acted as Spanish lead counsel on the transaction in which the Iberian company Persán acquired Mirabelle from Migros Beteiligungen. Niederer Kraft Frey (NKF) acted as Swiss counsel to Persán. The operation’s closing is expected to arrive later in 2025.
Currently owned by Migros Beteiligungen, Buchs-based Mibelle group specialises across the personal care & beauty, home care and nutrition business segments. The company approximately employs 1’400 people, with facilities in Switzerland, France, the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia, as well as sales offices in the Netherlands.
Headquartered in Seville, Spain, Persán is a multinational company active in the development, manufacturing and marketing of home care and personal hygiene products. In the 2024 financial year, it reached its record turnover of EUR 862 million. It currently employs more than 2’000 people and possesses three main plants: Seville (Spain), Saint-Vulbas (France) and Wróblowice (Poland).
