Cuatrecasas advises Mutares on the purchase of Lineage Spain Transportation (Fuentes)
Cuatrecasas has advised the Mutares investment group on the acquisition of Lineage Spain Transportation (Fuentes), a company specialised in temperature-controlled transport (mainly fruit and vegetables) based in Murcia.
Fuentes also has offices in Castejón (Navarra), Santiago de Compostela (A Coruña), Picassent (Valencia), Mercamadrid (Madrid) and Vlissingen (Netherlands), employs a total of 850 people and expects to have a turnover of €200 million in 2025.
Global expansion
Following the opening of its Madrid office in 2020, Mutares has increased its activity with several acquisitions, which are in line with its strategic plans to expand its presence in southern Europe.
