Cuatrecasas advises Grupo Hospitalario Recoletas Salud on the formalization of a sustainable financing for €283m
Cuatrecasas has advised Grupo Hospitalario Recoletas Salud on the formalization of corporate financing worth 283 million euros linked to sustainable development objectives. Throughout the process, with ING as sole coordinator, Recoletas Salud has managed to align the operation with its strategic approach to sustainability from a social, environmental and research and training perspective.
Founded in 1989 and with a significant presence in the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León, Grupo Recoletas Salud thus reinforces its commitment to promote green and socially responsible transformation, reducing its carbon footprint by implementing measures to ensure its energy efficiency.
“We are very pleased to have accompanied Grupo Hospitalario Recoletas in achieving this objective already foreseen in the group’s corporate financing since last year, in coordination with its funders and with ING as the coordinating entity for sustainability. The parties have agreed to provide the financing with a regime based on the principles of the Sustainability Linked Loan Principles (LMA) with the particularities of the sector and the company’s strategic objectives in this area,” said Carlos Lasarte de Launet, the Cuatrecasas partner in charge of the transaction, who has been supported by the lawyer Gonzalo Terceño.
