Cuatrecasas advises Demium Capital on a new venture capital fund
Cuatrecasas has advised the valencian venture capital manager, Demium Capital, on the incorporation of its new venture capital fund, Demium Central Europe Talent Fund I, and its registration with the spanish securities and exchange commission (CNMV).
Through this fund, Demium Capital seeks to invest in seed-stage startups in central europe that stand out for their technology and growth potential, and that will foster innovation and economic development in the region.
During its first closing, this July, it expects to reach between €7m and €9m and in the second closing, scheduled for September, its goal will be to reach €40m.
With this investment, Demium Capital expects to be able to guide and mentor entrepreneurs in these countries and even provide them with the necessary financial support to promote the development of their innovation projects.
The team from Cuatracasas advising Demium Capital was formed by the partner, Jorge Canta (pictured); the associate, Pilar Pastor and the lawyer, Jaime Sepúlveda.
