Cuatrecasas advises DeepNeuronic on Motorola sale

Cuatrecasas advised DeepNeuronic on the sale of 100% of its share capital, including that of its Brazilian subsidiary DeepNeuronic Brasil, to Motorola Solutions.

DeepNeuronic is a Portuguese startup founded in 2021 by Vasco Lopes and Bruno Degardin, specializing in video analysis using machine learning to detect situations users consider “risky.” Its software, which converts standard cameras into real-time analysis systems, is already deployed across infrastructure in Portugal, including airports, bridges, motorways and commercial spaces. In Brazil, the software supports mobility and security operations monitoring.

Following the integration, the software will become part of Avigilon, Motorola Solutions’ video security platform, becoming available to clients in more than 100 countries. The DeepNeuronic team will transition to Motorola Solutions while remaining based at the company’s headquarters in Covilhã, with part of the team continuing to work remotely.
