Cuatrecasas advises Arteche debut on Spanish stock market

Cuatrecasas has advised Arteche, a Spanish company in cutting-edge technology for the electricity sector, on its move to the main stock market in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao and Valencia. This step marks the start of trading of its shares on the Spanish Interconnection System (SIBE).

Through this transaction, Arteche begins trading on the continuous market via a direct listing. While maintaining its identity as a family-owned company, this will allow it to diversify and internationalise its investor base, increase liquidity and enhance the company’s visibility among analysts and large institutional investors, states Cuatrecasas.

The company is entering this new phase against a backdrop of growing global demand for electricity grid solutions. In 2026, it will complete a strategic plan focused on international expansion, the development of advanced technologies and the continuation of its dividend policy.

Partner José Ramón Berecibar (pictured) led the advisory team alongside corporate lawyers Santiago Bayo, Julio Otero and Marc Badía.
