Cuatrecasas acts for DP World on $750m Puertos y Logística acquisition
Cuatrecasas acted for port operator DP World on the acquisition of Chilean company Puertos y Logística.
The deal – which involved DP World acquiring 71.3 per cent of Puertos y Logística’s shares – was valued at $750 million.
Under the terms of the deal, DP World will assume debt of around $226 million.
The Madrid-based team advising on the deal was led by partners Javier Villasante (pictured) and Mariano Ucar, and associates Álvaro López de Ceballos and Marta Benjumea.
