Cuatrecasas acts for Barraqueiro Group on Transporta sale

Cuatrecasas advised the Barraqueiro Group on the sale of Transporta – Transportes Porta a Porta to CTT – Correios de Portugal.

 

Transporta offers distribution and freight market services in Portugal. Its operating revenues totalled €3.2 million in the first quarter of the year.

CTT said the acquisition formed part of its strategy to expand and diversify its business through  new service offering, including a new service for distributing packages weighing more than 30kg.

The Cuatrecasas team was led by partner José Diogo Horta Osório, and included partners Nuno Sá Carvalho and Leonor Chastre, as well as associates Ana Isabel Marques, Sónia Queiróz Vaz, Rita Sacadura Orvalho and Filipa Arrobas da Silva.
