Crowe incorporates Rafael Fernández Bautista

Crowe Legal y Tributario continues to bolster its expertise with the addition of Rafael Fernández Bautista as a partner in its administrative law department, led by managing partner Pablo Nava. Fernández Bautista, an accomplished lawyer and doctor in law from the University of Barcelona, brings over 20 years of professional experience to the firm.

Fernández Bautista has a distinguished background in administrative and urban law, having served as a national head of Urban Planning at PwC and previously as a lawyer at Garrigues. His career also includes a position as legal counsel for the Department of Environment of the Generalitat of Catalonia. Recognized by Chambers & Partners as a leading lawyer in Europe, Fernández Bautista has published 16 research papers related to his practice areas.

In addition to his legal practice, Fernández Bautista is an Associate Professor of Administrative Law at the University of Barcelona and a member of its Administrative Law research group, acknowledged by the Catalan government. Most recently, he served as Land Development Director for Spain and Portugal at Panattoni.
