Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo Sevilla integrates Setting Consultoría
Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo‘s Sevilla office, led by Francisco Fernández, has recently closed three strategic deals to strengthen its business line focused on public procurement and governance in the public sector. A key development is its agreement with Setting Consultoría, initiating a business integration process centered on public policy advisory and governance in the public sector.
Setting, with over 20 years of experience in consulting and ICT projects, will join the firm in two phases. The first phase includes the addition of Julio Calvo Nuño, an expert in public sector projects and technological transformation. This collaboration will enhance both firms’ capabilities in areas such as public policy, governance, innovation consulting, and public contract evaluation, while leveraging Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo’s extensive legal expertise in public procurement, public-private partnerships, and governance.
In addition, the firm has appointed Manuel Mesa Vila as a senior advisor. Mesa Vila, a seasoned lawyer specializing in public sector contracts, has held numerous significant positions in the Andalusian public sector, including Secretary General of the Andalusian Public Foundation and Director of Andalusian Sports Public Enterprise.
Looking ahead, Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo Sevilla plans to extend its advisory services in cultural policy management to museums, theaters, symphonic orchestras, and other cultural institutions in 2024. To lead this expansion, the firm will bring on board a prominent professional in the field as a new partner.
