Company Legal Partner advises on the launch of a €30m Draper B1 fund
Company Legal Partner has acted as legal advisor to Draper B1 GP on the launch of its Draper B1 Frontier Tech Fund. The fund will be €30 million in size and will invest in technology, mainly spacetech, AI and blockchain.
The fund is backed by Fond-ICO Global as an investor, the vehicle managed by the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO), along with investors from previous funds of the fund manager. With a first closing with which it begins operations while giving entry to some new investors among selected entrepreneurs and family offices.
Draper B1 has launched three funds and has €50 million in assets under management. Specifically, it has made more than 10 successful divestments, generating significant returns for its investors. Among its successes are Jeff, Signaturit and Traventia, with exit multiples of up to forty times what was invested.
The firm team has been led by lawyer Elena Company.
