CMS Portugal on the acquisition of the Portuguese company FLS

In partnership with the Danish law firm Bech-Bruun, CMS Portugal has advised the multinational logistics company Scan Global Logistics, on the acquisition of 100% of FLS – Freight & Logistics Solutions. Completion of the transaction is conditional on the verification of conditions precedent agreed by the parties.

FLS is a Portuguese player in the provision of integrated logistical services and freight forwarding activity, including planning, control, coordination and direction of operations related to dispatch, reception, storage and movement of goods or merchandise.

The CMS Portugal team that took part in this transaction was led by Francisco Xavier de Almeida, corporate M&A partner, and included senior associate André Guimarães and associate, Francisca Pereira da Cruz, both from the corporate M&A team.

Bech-Bruun had a team composed by partner Jakob Kristensen and associate Mathias Henriksen.
