CMS Portugal advises BPI Imofomento on building acquisition
CMS Portugal has advised BPI Imofomento, an open-end real estate investment fund, in the purchase of the “Santa Maria” office building in Entrecampos. The “Santa Maria” building, approximately 6,900 square meters in size, is located on avenida Cinco de Outubro, in Lisbon, and features 13 floors dedicated to office spaces currently occupied by ADENE – the Portuguese Energy Agency – and the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology.
The CMS Portugal team, which provided comprehensive legal assistance in due diligence, negotiation, and formalization of the asset acquisition, was led by João Pinheiro da Silva, real estate partner coordinator, with support from associate Sandra Teixeira Arsénio (both pictured).
