CMS partners with Mauritius-based Prism Chambers

CMS has announced its partnership with Prism Chambers, a law firm based in Mauritius, which will now operate as an associate of CMS Africa. The firm will provide CMS and its clients with access to the Mauritian market and will be branded as “Prism Chambers – in association with CMS. By partnering with Prism Chambers, CMS strengthens its presence in Africa. Already active in Angola, Morocco, South Africa, Kenya, and Mozambique, the law firm continues to prioritize its strategic expansion in the region. Currently, CMS operates in 47 countries and 79 cities, with a global team of over 6,300 lawyers.

According to Alberto Galhardo Simões, partner for Lusophone Africa at CMS Portugal (pictured right), this partnership follows the firm’s recent expansions with CMS LBR in Angola and CGA in Mozambique, “enhancing CMS’ reach in this strategically vital continent.”

Expansion

Founded in 2019, Prism Chambers is a law firm based in Ebène. Agile and innovative, it specializes in various aspects of business and financial law and is frequently sought after for its expertise in high-profile tax litigation and complex cross-border matters.
