CMS Portugal incorporates three new associates

CMS Portugal has strengthened its team with the incorporation of three new associates. They are Richad Majid, who joins the Lusophone Africa and Labor & Pension Fund practice areas; Carolina Sousa Guerreiro, who joins the Technology, Media & Communications (TMC) team; and Rodrigo Pinto Guimarães, who joins the Public Law and Energy & Climate Change teams.

Richad Majid, who has integrated in the previous Government as Deputy of the Office of the Deputy Secretary of State for Labour and Vocational Training, has developed his activity in Labour Law, namely in the monitoring of company restructuring processes in various sectors of activity, in collective bargaining processes and in negotiations with trade unions. He has participated in the drafting of legal bills in the area of labour law, namely in the preparatory work of the amendments to the Labour Code. He also has experience in advising clients in foreign investment projects, restructuring and acquisition of shareholdings in Portuguese-speaking countries, namely in Mozambique and Angola.

Carolina Sousa Guerreiro, who comes from PLMJ, has more than 11 years of experience and works in the areas of Technology, Media & Communications and Intellectual Property, focusing her practice in the areas of Privacy/Data Protection, E-Commerce, Technology, Intellectual Property and Consumer Law, having advised national and international clients in various sectors of industry, particularly the textile, furniture, tobacco, food, pharmaceutical, cultural and creative sectors.

Rodrigo Pinto Guimarães, who comes from Telles, works mainly in the areas of public law, energy, and environment.
