CMS advises Studio Canal on Bambú Producciones deal

French production company Studio Canal was advised by CMS Albiñana & Suarez de Lezo on the acquisition of a 33 per cent stake in the Spanish company Bambú Producciones.

Studio Canal – a subsidiary of the Canal + group – specialises in the co-production, acquisition, distribution, and sales of films and television series.

Bambú Producciones has been responsible for producing shows such as “The Refugees”, “Grand Hotel” and “Velvet”.

The CMS Albiñana & Suarez de Lezo team advising on the transaction was led by Carlos Peña.
