CMS advises on the sale of 60% of Robotnik Atomation
CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo has advised United Robotics on the purchase of 60% of Robotnik Automation, developer of robots for industrial applications.
The transaction has been led by Luis Miguel de Dios (partner), Elena Alcázar, Aleksandra Czajka (senior associates) and David Jódar (associate).
The firm has advised United Robotics Group (URG) on the purchase of 60% of the capital of a Valencia-based labour company Robotnik Automation, dedicated to the development, manufacture and sale of robots and mobile manipulators for industrial applications. The operation has involved negotiations with the 32 partners of the target.
With this acquisition URG moves forward with its expansion strategy and reinforces its position in the european service robotics market. It also expands the firm’s presence in the technology sector.
