CMS advises on the acquisition of Maquinter
CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo has advised BOMAG, a world leader in the compaction technology sector, in the acquisition of 76% of the shares of Maquinter, a company with more than 40 years of experience in the distribution of machinery for construction, public works and mining.
With this transaction, the multinational, which has a workforce of more than 2,500 employees and operates in 6 continents, becomes the sole shareholder of Maquinter, thus reinforcing its commitment to Spain.
The legal firm has provided its advisory services in the legal and tax due diligence process, in the preparation and negotiation of both the share purchase agreement and the ancillary documents of the transaction, as well as assistance in the signing and closing.
The team that has advised in the transaction has been led by the partner of the corporate / M&A area, Luis Miguel de Dios and the main lawyer of the same team, Jorge Peris.
