CMS Advises FoodBox-Lateral on Restructuring and Financing
CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo has advised FoodBox-Lateral, a restaurant chain controlled by Bluegem Capital Partners, on its corporate restructuring and financing from a banking syndicate led by Santander and CaixaBank.
With this operation, FoodBox-Lateral plans to launch an ambitious growth plan aimed at becoming one of the largest restaurant groups in the Spanish market.
The operation was led by the Corporate/M&A team, including partners Rafael Suarez de Lezo (pictured left) and Ignacio Cerrato Crespán (pictured centre), and associates Macarena Méndez Sánchez-Castillo and Álvaro García-Pelayo Cermeño, along with the Banking & Finance team, consisting of partner Alberto Mata Rodríguez (pictured right), counsel Borja Vázquez, and associates Rodrigo Urosa Fernández and Sol Cruz-Conde de La Moneda.
