CMS advises Acciona on acquisition of Nordex stake

CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo advised Acciona on the acquisition of a further 10 per cent stake in German company Nordex for €99 million and is advsing on the subsequent €637 million takeover bid.

With the acquisition of the additional stock, the Spanish company’s stake in Nordex will exceed 30 per cent which means they are required to launch a takeover bid for the remaining 63.73 per cent of the German wind turbine manufacturer.

The CMS team was led by partner Rafael Suarez de Lezo (pictured), and included partner Carlos Vérgez, counsel Ignacio Ramos and consultant Andrés Recalde.
