Clyde & Co promotes Hilda Gallego and Leyre Rosales to partners

Clyde & Co in Madrid has promoted Hilda Gallego and Leyre Rosales, specialised in Litigation and Insurance, to partners, consolidating a key practice for the firm co-managed by Miguel Relaño and Enrique Navarro.

Thus, the Madrid office now has four international partners (Enrique Navarro, Miguel Relaño, Javier Hernández-Valenciano and Laura Ochoa) and five non-equity partners (legal directors): Katia Álvaro, Luis García, Carlos Cid and the recently promoted Hilda Gallego and Leyre Rosales.

Hilda Gallego

Hilda Gallego accumulates more than nine years at Clyde & Co, where she started her career as a trainee in 2016. She specialises in handling serious personal injury claims and advising on cross-border claims, with experience in road and workplace accidents, medical malpractice and aviation accidents.

Her practice, both in and out of court, includes the preparation of expert reports on Spanish law for international litigation and advice on complex international issues, such as jurisdiction and applicable law, liability and policy coverage.

Leyre Rosales

Leyre Rosales joined Clyde & Co. in November 2024 as senior associate. With more than a decade of experience, she has advised major companies in financial product litigation, large claims related to fire, energy and construction, as well as in professional and product liability in sectors such as healthcare, food and technology.

He also has extensive experience in disputes related to D&O policies, ranging from criminal proceedings for crimes of misappropriation or unfair administration to liability actions, labor claims or disciplinary proceedings. In parallel to her professional practice, she has been a lecturer in the Instituto de Empresa’s Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession since September 2025.

New incorporations in Madrid and new office in Rotterdam

In line with this commitment, the Madrid office has recently incorporated new professionals and consolidated the progress of others. Jesús Bascones, Marina Sanjuan, Sofía Pérez, Catalina Sansó, Mirian Rodrigo and Teresa Peña have joined the team as associates. In addition, four lawyers who began their careers at Clyde & Co have advanced to associate: Blanca Seco, Antonio Bravo, Carmen Carrillo and Álvaro Sanchís. Finally, Carmen Recio, Abel Pérez, Beatriz Infante and Aurora Sancho have joined as trainees.

In addition, this internal growth is accompanied by an international strategy. The firm recently opened an office in Rotterdam following the integration of the Stadermann Luiten team. Thus, after opening its first European office in Paris in 1992, Clyde & Co now has nine offices with nearly 200 lawyers in France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Spain and now the Netherlands.
